Benan Bal
Menswear Designer, Style Expert, and Founder of Style Lab Academy & Tips for Gent
Benan Bal graduated from the Textile Department of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2007 and completed the Fashion Design and Management program at LaSalle Academy in 2009.
She began her professional career as a menswear designer at Tween, part of Orka Holding. In 2010, her collection was presented at London Fashion Week, marking her first international showcase. In 2015, she presented her independent collection at Pitti Uomo, followed by representing Türkiye at the International Woolmark Prize in Milan in 2016.
She later joined Beymen Collection as Head Designer, where she led menswear design and product development projects while collaborating with leading professionals across Türkiye and Europe. Following her design career, she expanded her work into personal style consulting, providing wardrobe and stage styling for well-known Turkish artists, including Mustafa Sandal, Murat Boz, and Mabel Matiz.
In 2021, she founded Tips for Gent, a platform dedicated to menswear, personal style, and image. Today, through Style Lab Academy, she develops digital education programs, delivers corporate seminars, and creates professional training content focused on menswear, styling, image management, and fashion design.

• Education & Seminars
I deliver training sessions on style, brand identity, and visual communication to fashion students and professionals at various institutions, including Vakko Esmod Fashion Academy. I also design bespoke seminars and workshops for corporate teams, focusing on the power of style in the business world.
• Content Creation
I create content on fashion, personal style, and image for platforms like Instagram and YouTube. I collaborate with brands on seasonal trend analysis, style-focused projects, and creative campaigns.
• Digital Guides
Through e-books and digital style guides, I offer practical and inspiring solutions for men who seek to express themselves beyond just getting dressed.
