Tween '09-12 Head of Collection
'Tween' is the brand where I designed my first men's wear collection years in 2009-12. In order to bring a fresh breath to modern classic attire, we created new series combining minimal forms, seasonal theme patterns, and technological fabrics.
The collection was showcased on domestic (MBFW Istanbul) and international fashion platforms (Pitti Uomo).
During the preparations for London Fashion Week, I had the opportunity to work with David Bradsaw. Under the creative direction of Güneş Güner Işık, I gained experiences that hold a unique place in my career.
The 2010 collection production took place at Ace Cafe London under the direction of Marcus Ross.
In the 2011 collection, the backdrop story was crafted around a classic boxing diary featuring Paul Simonon's sons, Louis Simonon and Claude Simonon, who had become famous among London celebrities. The shoot, directed by Güneş Güner, left a memorable visual impression for that period.
